An auto parts store. Most fuel pressure gauges come with adapters, to be used on various models.

I don't know for sure but that sounds like the correct pressure at least with the car running...wait for lucky or one of the other senior member to post back up before you buy the new pump bro.

checked battery voltage? Alternator voltage? Loose cable? Just curious about these items. You also mentioned that it has been 50k with the fuel filter. Have you done a recent tune up?

Just got the gas tank out of the car.

DID NOT HAVE TO REMOVE:

Exhaust or driveline (manual).

Tip: Disconnect the crossover at both ends. This allows the tank (left) to drop far enough to disconnect the hoses inside the crossover, then tank removal.

Even though they are "press fit" they don't give up easily.

The joke was on me though as I got one of the tanks with the opening too small to just pull the pump out.

Dremel fixed that!

yea the fuel filter needs to be replaced (ill do that this weekend). I put MSD wires, ac delco iridium plugs, new front o2 sensors, cleaned out my radiator, had my fuel injectors cleaned and inspected all about 10-15k miles ago...i just had my transmission rebuilt, new torque converter and also a 3 rib 3.42 diff put in about 1500 miles ago. had the tune done by ECS.

I just dont know what is wrong. the car will tug or surge a little on decel or very light accel. im getting poor gas mileage as well...

only have 1 code
BCM-2723

i do have a small oil leak from the back of the engine as well.

Fuel level sender ($80.00) does not come with new pump assembly and getting the old one to let go is a joke.

Saving grace was it only took a day to get one.

Getting the locking ring back on was almost a showstopper.

What a bitch!.

Took two of us and a funky fixture, but it worked.

Got an email back from the tool supplier for the special tool needed for the locking ring.

Tool will be available in March!

Glad I am resourceful.

Car would not restart after fill up.

Guess there was air in the fuel line.

Started after awhile so I decided to go get it smogged.

Guy would not test it as a code was tripped: EVAP FAIL.

He said to go drive it till the code cleared and bring it back.

I cleared it with my reader (which I should have checked with before I took it to go get smogged).
