Help with some heads.

from what i see these will be safe to run, just tap the two holes and drill out the other two. Please inform me if im wrong.

hmm... $350 for some 799's... that you will need to work on vs. a used set of 243's for $400 or so...?? Not a good deal! JMO...

I've bought a set of these heads from this guy a year or two ago. I thought it was a good deal. I also had them milled a bit to increase compression and make sure they were flat.

799 is same as 243, there's no difference in 243 and 799 except tyhe number, $350 is a great price for 799.

799 introduced in 2005, some 2005 C6's have one side 243 head and other side 799, because those 243 on C6 in 2005 was left over from C5 Z06's, in 2005 GM gave contract to others and they named it 799 but basically same heads as LS6.
Another difference they came with steel valves and not the Ti or sodium fill valves...someone correct me if iam wrong, too tired to search.

i know they are the same head without the ti valves, but are they safe to run?
