Default Looking for long term HID/Light Cannons/ACA feedback

Let's please leave the quality of light out of the equation....everyone knows any HID assembly flat kills a halogen setup.

I'd like to hear from those of you who have gone with the ACAs, or one of Radioflyer's offerings. What is life like over the long haul with those things? I understand that at least with 35w bulbs, it's something like three times the lifespan of halogens. (I've had the euro setup for years and the bulb lifespan for a dd, even at normal wattage, is annoyingly short.)

Any and all comments from those running these would be most appreciated.

I tried the Sylvania Silverlight or whatever they are. Little improvement over stock. I installed HID's in the OEM housings. So much scatter that they weren't any more effective than OEM by much, just brighter. I tried the fixed projector (a la C5R) and aiming them was a bear, the lens cover seemed to attenuate a fair amount of the light beam. I installed ACA projectors about a year ago and put H9 HID bulbs in them. This is the headlight the C5 should have had from the factory.

I also instaled HID's in the stock housings years ago. It was a huge improvement over stock. I recently installed the ACA style lights and they are exactly what GM should have had on these car's from the factory. I'm impressed with the quality.
