Hey guys, I figured this would be the place to ask for some help.

I'm having trouble with the transmission of my 1998 C5 Corvette Automatic.

Apparently, it seems to be torque locked...it is stuck in Park and will not shift gears. But the shift lever still moves.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

Could be a broken cable. You'll need to get under the car, and see if the lever on the trans moves with the shifter.

I send the shift cable being broken. I went through the same issue. My son graciously replaced it for me.

Yeah it looks like the shift cable disconnected.
