Default 2000 Key Fob?
My '99 fob has bit the dust. The correct part for 97-99 is 10253839. I have read a few posts from folks using the 2000 fob, 10432147 instead. It doesn't have the passive switch, which I don't care about, and costs about $18 less.

How many have tried this and had it work, and more importantly, tried it and it didn't work?

A 2000 fob will work fine on a 99, except for the passive function, of course.

I use a 2000 fob on my 99 and it works fine.
