Default Help installing SLP blackwing in 04 Vette

Whats up guys. I am getting ready to install the blackwing intake in my 04 z51 and have run into a problem. On the filter there are 2 holes one for the AIR system and then one for this plastic plug thing that says GM/Donaldson performance on it. I dont know what it is, but in all of the illustrations it shows this piece in the intake. I tried to put it in before I installed it, but the piece is too big for the hole.. What should I do? I really dont want to drill it out and risk getting the plastic into the filter. Or do I silicone this in? The nipple on it fits in, but the base doesnt. Or can I just say screw it and block off the hole all together?

Thanks for your help guys!

Default Hole

Pictures would be nice, but, if it's the part I think it is you may have to ream out the hole to fit the small tube. I'm sure others will chime in.

Right above step #8 you will see it on the intake. Heres the link:

You can see it best in the third picture over. It is that piece sticking up to the right of the intake inlet.
