About a month ago, I was parallel parked on a city street. The car parked in front of me started to back up, and I could see it was coming straight at my car. I honked the horn (because I was still in the car), but the car did not react and hit my front bumper. I got out of the car, looked at the bumper, and saw no damage, not even a scratch. No indicator lights came on either. Is there any possible way that I could have internal damage or damage to the steering column or front axle? Thanks.
Unlikely, that's why the factory uses Urethane front and rear fascias-can't understand people replacing their front/rear fascia with FIBERGLASS ones????
You're lucky. My son in law backed his '08 into a guy's truck after we all yelled at him to stop, and we couldn't see a mark. The next day in the light there was a wrinkle in the area where the rear fascia meets the fender panel, but it could have been worse. If it was sheet metal, it'd cost some coin.
