My seat switch has gone bad and I want to install the new part. Only problem is I can't get that black plastic cover off. There is a hole for what looks like a screw, but it definitely isn't phillips. Does anyone know what type of head it is?
I had mine apart a few weeks ago. There are two, might be three holes.
It indeed takes a phillips head screw driver to remove. I'm sure.
Why not remove the entire seat & work off the bench. Thats what I did.

I think you might be right. Just didn't want to have to remove the whole thing...
I just checked, & there are two phillip head screws that hold it in.
You have to lift the incline lever to see the one.
You will need to pull the recline lever too.
Sent you a pm.
