Need cam advice
I currently have a LS1 bottom end with 2004 LS6 head and cam. I'm installing Pac 1518 springs in a week or two. I'll be looking for a cam soon as I want to change the oil pump and chain anyway.
I want a cam that makes power to 7000 rpm with approximately a .600 lift. I don't mind moving the powerband up and sacrificing some torque down low.

I'm really happy with my Texas Speed 228R cam. You might want a little more than the 228 but I really think that Texas Speed has some good LS cams. Give them a call and also you can get some info from LS1Tech.com.
