Going to be drag racing this year with 26x11.5x16" et streets with a little over 450rwhp in my C5 M6
I'm swapping the 3.42s for 4.10s and while im in there I figured i'd upgrade the drivers side output shaft (left long one) should i do any other upgrades, passenger side shaft and gear is much more involved and special tools are needed, I'm on a budget and i want to keep the costs down, I can do the drivers side shaft myself and then have a shop set the pinion depth on the new gears.
I would also consider the differential brace and passenger side shaft as well. If I had to choose I would likely pick the brace first as breaking the differential case (and possibly the transmission) will be a bigger expense then breaking the passenger side shaft.
