Default Tire Size help needed

Ok i messed up and need some help...Last year I purchased Z06 wheels for my cpe. The tire sizes on the Z06 wheels are 265/40-17 on the front and 295/35-18 on the rear. When I ordered my tires from tire rack I ordered the stock sizes for my car which is 245/45-17 front and 275/40-18 on the rear. It is too late to stop the order so my questions are...

Will the stock tires fit on Z06 wheels?

Will they look like crap?

Will it effect the performance?

thanks in advance for your help.

1. Yes
2. Depends on the tire, some will look stretched, some won't.
3. A little, but it wouldn't be noticeable in day-to-day driving. You won't be able to launch as hard, and probably pull a few hundredths less cornering g's. Stopping at any speed would increase by a few feet. On the plus side, you won't hydroplane as easily in wet conditions.

1) yes
2) yes. anything less than 295 will make the sidweall tuck in at an angle.
3) yes. due to the angle on the sidewall and the stretch of the tire, it won't be very pliable. you would get better performance with this size tire on the stock wheels.

put the tires up for sale in the for sale section. you can probably get back 95% of what you paid for them since they are new. it will cost you a bit of a loss, but that is what happens when we make mistakes.
