Ok, the cats are gone. I've added a pair of O2 sims, however one is apparently not emulating the heater circuit well enough to fool the ECM.
I think there's 2 choices to pass emisions, replace the sim OR buy a set of the of extensions from http://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/mini-cat-cel-fix.html and re-install the stock O2.
My question is has anyone ever used the "min-cat extensions"? Do they work?? Looks and sounds like a great plan, just hate waisting funds on non go fast parts that don't work.
Thoughts?
Thanks for any help...

If your state has a sniffer test, you will not pass regardless of what you do to simulate the rear O2 sensor. I'm assuming you've left the front O2 sensors alone.
Cat 02 sims have become illegal and hard to come by--And most of the time they didn't work correctly anyway--The proper way to remove your cats so you get NO CODES and no unwanted fuel enrichening is with tuning--A mail order tune will do-just tell them what you want beforehand-- They will turn OFF or disable the cat protection system and turn off all the rear 02 enablers and MIL lights---In turn when you get it somgged- they will be no check engine light AND the readiness tests for the cats will be permanently set to "ready"
In some states now you are only allowed to have one readiness test of the eight set to "not ready" also after installing the tune you will have to drive the car approx 50 miles to get the balance of the readiness test to go thru their checks and switch to ready--

Thanks.
I am scheduled for a dyno tuning next weekend.
I thought the test checked to assure O2's were all up and running. Hope its that easy! More to follow!
