Just did head/cam/intake and ported/polished throttle body, dyno tuned etc the problrem is i can go for a drive and it will run perfect I can go for the same run about 70 miles and the idle when you pull up is running at about 2000 rpm after about 8 seconds it will drop back to the set idle of 850rpm, while you are driving at say 50 mph its like being on cruise control.
It could be either a problem in the tune or it could be a vacuum leak.
More than likely you have a problem with the tune. Too much "running air flow" in the idle table or timing map that hasn't been properly smoothed. Are you able to post up a copy of your tune?
