They arent torque to yield like the Head bolts.

replace exhaust manifold/header bolts?
I am just getting everything lined up to install my headers. I have searched and can not find the answer...do I need to replace the header bolts? my car has 55k miles on it. sorry if this has been answered a bunch of of times.

I "THINK" that the torque value is 18 ft/lbs but make sure that you check and torque them to the correct value.
I have changed many manifolds/headers and have never had an issue with the exhaust manifold/header bolts.

Bill, the instructions from Dynatech say "approximately 15 ft/lb" which is kind of funny to me. either way, 18 is close enough

Upgrade driveline, then add power until I exceed driveline. Rinse repeat rinse repeat rinse repeat rinse repeat........ I still have dead clutches and broken torque tube parts collecting dust all over my garage
