F55 shock question
Will codes be shown if the F55 shocks are leaking fluid? There are no codes that I can find in the 2004 shop manual - but that does not mean there are none.

NO.. Nothing monitors fluid level or shock pressure so you will NOT see a code for a worn out or leaky shock.
You can disconnect one end of the suspected shock and see if it has proper dampening and the correct intarnal pressures. When you disconnect the lower end, the shock should expand on its own.

You will need this post so you dont get DTCs and speed limit restrictions. You have to eliminate the F=55 function.
