3.42 R.End
I have been thinking of getting an aftermarket air intake. I have a stock 2.73 and my eccelleration is slooow! should I forget the intake and just get the gears?

Get the 3.42s and a converter, that will really wake your car up. The intake will help also, it should give you between 10 and 15 RWHP.

Mitch C - I have 3.42's going in Friday. I am seriously thinking about the PT2400 converter. How are is yours and did the get them both at one or one then the other?

In my opinion, if you want 3.42 gears, try to get a takeoff set from a Z06, they are shotpeened (stronger) and should be cheaper than brand new gears.
