You sure that is not you ???? Might be so happy you own a vette that you might be doing it...... Only kidding. That type of problem is almost always related to some sort of vacume leak. Can you hear it at idle with the hood open ????????????

It only seems to be when I accelerate hard, almost sounds like a turbo spooling up but I don't have any :( Definitely coming from the engine compartment. Car runs fine.

Sounds generally normal to me, but a whistle is a pretty broad sound.
I noticed a whistle after installing the BlackWing and opening up the front area behind the Z06 screens (these would already be open on yours).
I just figured it was the normal sound from the Throttle body under initial acceleration. Common on most cars that I have had with an open intake area.
I do not hear the same noise under WOT. Then I just hear a big mean throaty growl. :eek:

Cruz, get under the hood. Have someone race the engine and see if you can identify it. I do understand that there is a intake manifold problem with LS1
motors. You can get a spray bottle and spray around the intake while running. If you see the water disappear its the gaskets. NOW DONT use too
much water, just a spray on every port.
