Default New Clutch?

Recently had cam installed On my 2002 Z06 and have done a couple runs and now the clutch is giving out... racing it goes out and has no pressure.. driving it normal it seems fine and has all pressure... only goes out when full throttle and shifting.. clutch fluid has been changed and is clear... so is it time for a new clutch? if so ideas on a good one for 440hp at the wheels.. also sometimes when trying to put into first while coming to a stop sign it wants to grind gear.. not always but everyonce in awhile it does it..
What do u guys think? New Clutch time?

As long as you've maintained your fluid with new, and it's clear, then yes, I'd say you got to bite the old clutch bullet. You should change all the hydraulics at the same time, I.E. master, and slave cylinders. Probably Monster Stg.2, or Spec 3+?

I just had the grinding in 3rd and turns out I losted 3rd completely but for 440wrhp you should be good with and LS7 clutch the driveablitly is great and they can handle the power and are priced better just my .02

At 440rwhp you are maiking c6z power and there are guys with stock ls7 having issues with there clutches. If you're going to be replacing the clutch why not upgrade it to somthing that's better. Our new carbon/organic 11" is going to easily hold your power and more if you so choose later down the road. Give me a call if you would like to discuss it's superiority to the ls7 further as it's only 679.99 for our basic kit which includes a billet steel flywheel, dowel pins, release bearing, pilot bearing and alignment tool.
