I leave at 30 for all driving...on long trips I find the pressure increased to 36-37 in moderate weather temps. I like to keep road pressures below 40.
I set the PSI at 30 COLD, as they warm up the PSI climbs to between 32 and 36 PSI depending on how hot the road is. Anything more than that (cold) and I believe the tire will "crown" causing the center to wear first.

"Generally speaking, add pressure to the end that is sliding too much. In other words, if you turn into a corner and the car doesn't want to turn (push, understeer, etc) you add a bit of pressure to the front to correct this. If the car's rear end comes out too much during turning (loose, oversteer, etc), add a bit of pressure to the rear tires to correct this.
Just for reference, I run Hoosiers when its dry and I start with 31-32 in the front and about 29-29.5 in the back and adjust from there. This seems to be the range at which most of the T1 vette guys are running and the car is very balanced. I try to set the pressures when the outside temp is around 70 degs or so and then check the tire temps after a track session to see how hard the tires are actually working...adjust from there.
The tire rack site has some handling tips and suggestions about tire pressures, spring rates, etc and how to change the handling of the car.
Again though, generally speaking, add pressure to the end that is sliding too much to correct the problem! Hope this clears this up!!"
I'm running non-flats Pole Position S-03s with 30 psi cold. They go up to 33-35 on the highway when they warm up. I noticed that the two left sides usually warm up to 1 psi higher than the right sides. For the tire experts out there, Does these indicate a mis-alignment? I had the tires road force balanced and a four wheel alignment just after installing them on new chrome Z06 rims. The car runs straight and true but I'm am wondering if the camber is off on the left side causing the tire to scrub more and heat up higher. Or am I just a paranoid, **** retentive, perfectionist! :)
