Default Another Clutch problem

I am having some serious issues with shifting my car at high RPM's only. It shifts with no problems at any RPM below 6000. Once I get it up around 6400-6700RPM then it just will not shift into any gear. No grinding just seems to hit a brick wall and will not shift. I do not think it is the clutch though. No slipping of the disc. I frequently change the fluid by cleaning it out and filling it back up. Any help would be appreciated.

What clutch and what hydaulics are you running? Possible bent shift forks?

Spec Stage IV pressure plate and Stage III clutch disc. Would bent shift forks prevent it from shifting only at high rpms? Anything below 6000rpm shifts just fine.

I had the same problem with the Cartek clutch when it was first installed (after the 500 miles broken-in). But then the problem completely went away few thousand miles after that.

Have you tried adjusting the engagement point a little higher?

I don't have an adjustable master. That is exactly what I am looking at right now. Just don't want to spend $300 on a part that is not going to fix my problem.

Garceeya, I doubt adjustable master will help you. :nonod: Cartek clutch is designed to work with A/M (it won’t work w/o it period), STAR is not.
Give it a shot if you want to, I really hope it helps, but I wouldn’t hold my breath…
