ACA headlight harness necessary?

ACA headlight harness necessary?
Ok i got the ACA's and i want to know if the harness is necessary or if you could just plug directly into the headlight harness from the factory and it would work. I'm not sure why it WOULDN'T work. ~Cole~

Yep i have new HID's for the lows and they are H9's I'm actually just waiting for my 5k bulb kit to get in. The 6k's are too blue for me i think. I got the ACA's install into the brackets tonight(no trimming needed at all) and just waiting to put the new HID bulbs in when they come in. I hate trying to put bulbs in the Vettes so i'm gonna do them while the headlights are out of the car. I will mount the ballasts yet and just wait for the bulbs. I've done HID's before it's just the ACA harness i was unsure of.
