Lately I've noticed higher rpms before shifting into second gear, especially noticable in town. Took it into the local Chevy dlr. and they changed filter and fluid,(had told me they were going to do a "flush") don't think they did though. Did say they replaced a sticking solenoid.
Curious just how much the computer has to do with the shift points? Can the around town shift points be changed with a programer? I thought most programers were for WOT response.
I see almost 3,000 rpm before it goes into second which is disturbing me around town.
Will surely appreciate any input!
thats what mine did, before i broke 2nd gear band. the 2nd gear selionod was bottoming out, and it poped the band. hope you have better luck than i did
