Could anyone tell me what the best tire is for a 2000 FRC with mods? Car wants to spin off the line, and also in second and third gear. Currently running Falken 452's. Thanks

If you're on the track ONLY with the tires or have a separate set of wheels go full slicks and you will crap your pants when you see how those suckers hook.
Mickey Thompson E/T streets are the only street tire to hold first gear with nitrous on my car but they dont last very long. BFG KDW's are a good medium, gripped decent and lasted 10k miles.
The softer the tire compound, the better the grip. This also means they will wear out much faster. Tires are made up of two basic compounds, rubber and carbon... the more carbon, the longer they last,, the more rubber the better for grip... Manufactures design tires tring to balance these two coumpounds to meet specific needs.. while tread design and internal integrity with belt design is also critical.. its the rubber that meets the road which is the most important when it comes to grip. Typically touring tires will have more carbon and less rubber, where as performance tires will have more rubber and less carbon.
