My battery went dead and I left it dead for quite awhile. I finally got a new battery and found the key fob quit working and the tire pressure sensors quit working. The key fob was an easy fix but according to my manual it says, " if you are unable to display your tire pressures while the vehicle speed is greater than 15 MPH, you may need to have your sensor ID codes learned by the vehicle. See your Dealer."
I don't have a Dealer I trust. Is there any other way to fix this?
Some can get it done with a small one and others use one the size of the speaker magnet. I normally use a rectangular magnet about 1 ½ X ¾ X ¼ inch. I have also been successful with one of those mechanics magnet on a stick thingy. I guess it depends on the sensor or the technique.

I used to use a 99 cent magnet I got at Radio Shack.
If you don't already have a magnet, I'd suggest the local hardware store that carries "Stanley" items. They make a round magnet that's about 3" in diameter, and works well. It's a couple of dollars....
