Msd 8.5 plug wires
I'm in the middle of changing my plugs and wires right now. My question is can these wires really take the heat from the exhaust manifolds? I noticed the metal sleeve that was on the original actually fits over these. Should I use the sleeve again? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I used these wires when I swapped out the originals. I also added woven "socks' to sheild from header heat. Cheap insurance.
