hey everybody im still trying to get used to all the noise these cars make. and since ive never ridden in one besides mine im not sure if all these noise are so called (right) noises . I followed some buddys up the mtn yesterday and afterwards i noticed the rearend was whining not really heavily but it is noticable. it whines through all gears but you can hear it better in the higher gear at lower rpm .. the harder i turn to the left the more volume i get ,but when i turn to the right the tone doesnt seem to change dramatically . could this be a bearing or maybe the clutches getting dry in the differential? should i start by changing my fluid?

Get your car up on jack stands (support the lower control arms) and drive it through gears. If the noise is gone, it's your right rear hub bearing. If the noise is still there, it's the gears.
