I'll tell ya where the big difference will be,,,,,,big cuts and bruises on your hands from trying to shoehorn them suckers in there! 
Seriously though, a quality set of 1-7/8" LT's will support alot of horsepower. There are lots of 600+ rwhp cars running great times with 1-7/8" primary headers.
