Ok thanks I started at lunch and it didn't come back on so IDK

It will probably come back so check those codes and it will give you some idea of what is causing the problem. The fix can be as simple as a loose wire or more complicated and expensive. Sometimes the problem will be intermittent for quite a while. You can continue to drive the car you just won't have active handling and probably not traction control or ABS until it is fixed.

I think those are indicitive of a steering position sensor (The C1287 & C1288) The others are history codes. Dont worry about those for now.
Theres a possible fix to the steering position sensor without changing it. Some have had success by lifting the front of the car and turning the steering wheel lock to lock many many times, like a couple of hundred!! Its an attempt to clean the contact ring off to regain a better electrical connection.
I just went ahead and changed mine. The sensor was about $80. or so at my local dealer. The job is pretty easy to do and is outlined here on the forum & if you do a search youll find it.
The ABS & Traction Control sytem have a self diagnosis sequence, so the lights wont come on until the car is driven a certain distance and the self diagnosis is completed. Just starting it wont set the code. At least thats how it was for me when I had the 1287 & 1288 codes
OK so I cranked the car a few minutes ago and they came back. Service traction control ad service active handling. I pulled the codes the only one it hade was c1288 C H
Battery Voltage is at 14.2
Now what?

I already told you.... steering wheel position sensor! About $80. from the dealer and an hour to fix at home.
Yeah I have read up on it but not sure I could pull it off. Also the steering wheel is off but not by much
Its not hard. The dealer wants like $3-400. for this repair which is rediculous if you ask me. You need a small amount of hand tools and the biggest thing to remember is to keep the wheel from turning when you pull the column. You could post up and ask for someone in your area to come over and help you. Most guys will be happy to do it for a lunch or 6 pack.

I'd buy someone a case for the help.I will have to see who I can take it to so I can get the alignment done
Try an alignment first. You can check the output from the steering wheel sensor, but it can be a challenge if you aren't equipped to do so.
How do you do a steering wheel alignment if you don't mind me asking... I'm assuming this is different than a wheel alignment?
I throw this code about every 50-60 miles (particularly if colder weather??). I have a steering column sensor I to replace if is is defective but would like to check alignment first. With the telescopic steering wheel I do not look forward to pulling the sensor off... folks on here have stated that the telescopic can be a hassle to deal with.
