Hurst T handle shift knob with N2O button
Current NOS conditionals:
a) Fuel pressure adequate
b) TPS reports WOT (TPAS)
c) RPM within window (3000-5800)
I could wire the switch to activate or de-activate the N2O system in series with the other conditionals. My thought on the two options is as follows:
Button pressed
- Activates - Basically I press it when I want the N2O, and let off when I don’t. The down side is I have to keep my hand on the button, and can’t put in on the steering wheel. I think this is the more conventional and common setup.
- Deactivates - The N2O would be activated until the button is pressed. The upside is that I can keep my hands on the steering wheel. When I’m drag racing say in 1st I just hold the button down, until after I shift, then once in 2nd I can let off etc..
Can I have some thoughts on which option would be better……
