I think everyone that looked into doing this swap backed away b/c there was so much work involved. ie $$$$ to make that engine run in the older model car. There might be one out there that completed the project.
The motor itself is around 15-17k.. Thats before the install and all other driveline mods required... Unless you have money to burn and money is not an object, Im sure it could be done... You can get the same horspower for a lot less than that price.. There are plenty of other options out there

Very well put It has been explored multiple times and the same consensus is always reached. There is no logical reason to do it other than the fact that you would be able to say it has an LS9. It is not a viable or economical way to make power.
