i recently installed new sloted and drilled rotors on my 98 c5. the front rotors are fine but since i did this my rear has been making rattling noises. It sounds as if the brake pads are clanking against the rotors when i make a turn. also when i hit a bump in the road it makes a metal clanking sound. i have taken the rear rotors apart and reinstalled them making sure they where xtra tight but the noises are still happening. can anyone help???

Did you bleed the brakes? You might want to verify that steping on the brakes is actually stopping the wheel(s) in questions...which is why I'm asking about the bleeding.
did you make sure to reinstall the retainer clips? even if you did, I would advise getting new ones. If you leave them out, the brake pads will just flop all over the place in the caliper causing a bunch of racket. if the clips are old, they might be stuck or weak, and not hold the brake pads in position as well as they should be, also causing racket.

check those clips and let us know the outcome.
The clicking/rattling noise problem is not the rotors.
i think you guys are right about the clips. I researched them and it deff seems like thats the issue. now i just have to find where i can buy them i believe napa will have them
they come in a kit that also includes the rubber bushings for the slider pins. you should be able to get it at any auto parts store. They might not have them in stock though. i had to have them order mine. make sure u get the front and back.
