Default What makes the Powerloader II so great?

Been hearing a lot about how the Powerloder II is giving some great results to C5's. What exactly is this thing doing that could result in better performance?

I recently had 3.42 gears installed on my 2002 A4 and had the computer reprogrammed to handle the new gears (I went from the 2.73's to the 3.42's so reprogramming was necessary). The car rides great and has a lot more punch than the 2.73's both from a dead stop and at highway speeds.

Anyway, if I was to get a PII, would it be able to handle these gears and would I benfit from this product? I do not have any other mods except a ZO6 airbox cover and I am not planning on any more mods. Also I do not want my rev limter raised.

Oh and would the PII override my current programming or supplement it in some way?

Thanks for any advice

No need to raise the rev limiter and yes, it will over ride your current programing.

Thanks Al.

Also, will Steve Cole be able to take into consideration that I have 3.42 gears in my 2002 A4?

And one final question for ya.......If I don't raise the rev limiter, how much extra RWHP can I expect from a PLII?

Thanks man

He first programed my car for 2.73, then again for the 3.42. Next he will again program it for the 3.73's and the Cam.

The Powerloader was advertised at 10-12 more hp, but I would really say about half. The torque management and adjusting the shift points makes it feel like a new car!

great inof thanks Al. When you say adjusting the shift points, my A4 is shifting at 5,800 to 5,900 rpms now at WOT. Isn't that about right?

Thanks :p:

Each time I race, I forget to look at the tac (to excited). I guess that sounds about right.
