"Check Brakes" light

Default "Check Brakes" light
Have a 2000 vert with 12,400 miles on the odometer. Just owned it for 6 months.

Today for the first time the "check Brakes' light came on. On my 5 mile morning ride the brakes seemed to be working perfectly.

Any suggestions. I searched the topics section but couldn't find an answer.

Does the warning light only come on when you are braking or when you are accelerating? If so, you simply need to top off the level in your master cylinder.

Low Brake fluid or the connector /sensor for the fluid level sensor on the resiviour is bad
