Tires: Ouch!!!!

Time to replace the two rear tires. The CHEAPEST place I found was $805.00 for both rear tires (and ballance & allignment) after tax. Is there a cheaper way to go? I'm even comtemplating rolling the dice by using non-runflats.

Check the C5 for sale section. I see runflats on there a lot, some even new, for a lot less. I went with a non-runflat recently and couldn't be happier. I'll just take a patch kit and air compressor with me on long trips. :cheers:

I got 4 Firestone runflats thru local dealer $1090 out the door mounting,balancing etc...

I don't know if ones in Cali, but Discount Tire is pretty reasonable.

jesus, at least check out the tirerack or discount tire direct. no need to throw money away. also, i think tirerack can heat cycle those babies on the cheap.

tire rack has the rears for 299 each... shipping is around 20 dollars for both

There is no need for run flats, Its up to you. There are many other more cost efective tires on the market. You should expect to pay $75.00 per mount and balance.
