Magnesium Wheels
I have a 1999 C5 with magnesium wheels.Two of them have rubber (isolators) on them the other two do not. I tried the chevrolet dealer for two more but thay could not find them in the parts book.Does some one know if these are needed, if so what do they do and where do I get two more? You do need them for corrosion items !! I talked to a representative of speedline, where they are produced. He told me that they had to put it on because of corrosion problems due to the magnesium. Same rubber rings are on the Ferrari cars with Mags.
Find a place to get them and put them on!
