Default Borla Straight Pipes?

I want a new exhaust but I dont have too much money to work with. I was thinking borla straight pipes! I want something aggressive and vicious that wont get me pulled over by the police while cruising at 45mph (maybe noticed, but not pulled over) Give me y'alls opinion!!

Yea...you def don't want straight pipes. When i was stock i had them and every time a cop was around i had to get off the gas and put in neutral... go GHL and never look back!

I haven't had any cops mess with me in houston for having a loud exhaust. Actually they have followed me into a parking lot to tell me it sounds good and has a nice lope!!!
I can tell you where to get cheap bullets brand new or if you want custom straight pipes I know an exhaust shop in conroe that will take care of you.

Be forewarned that the straight pipe catbacks will give you HORRIBLE cabin drone. I love a loud car as much as the next guy, but riding in a car with those pipes was painful at cruising speeds. If I were you, I'd go with a set of cutouts.

Personally, I'm running the Z06 ti's. Great bark when you get on it, no drone at cruise even with long tube headers and no cats. You can usually get a used set for not too much money. (And they will never rust out. lol)

I don't have any cats so I put the bullets where the cats used to be. They fit perfect in there.

I absolutely agree with you about the drone, but im kinda lucky in the fact that I never really drive more than 10miles a week, and If i do have a long distance drive its normally just a cruise and i can drive untile I get tired of hearing myself and decide to go home

when you say perfect, does that mean you didn't have to cut any piping?

Borla straight pipes here, and just like others say, they really aren't that loud (considering). Granted, when you floor it, they get nice and loud, but at idle and cruise, even normal accelerating, they just aren't that bad.

It's because the cats keep the exhaust pretty mellow.
