If you have T1 Sway Bars on your Corvette, please tell me
1. How long you have them.
2. Honest impressions, good or bad
3. What End Links you have
4. Who you purchased your T1 set up through
5. Price Paid (without shipping)
I am looking for a T1 Front/Rear set up with all bushings and End Links. After reading a few threads, it seems that adjustable End Links make too much noise and most decided to replace with OEM Metal End Links.

Thanks in advance.
1. two years.. both front and rears
2. I like them they are most likely overkill for the street... that being said... Im never taking them off .. their too much fun. Im never going to push my car to THEIR limit. The ride is stiff.. no the ride is STIFF but you cant reallt tell what the car is doing under you.
3. Ive got and used both.. currently Im runing the stock metal links.. they do knock a bit.. but you get used to it
4. Private party.. best way
5. ~600 bucks if I remember right
1. since last September
2.very flat cornering (what I was looking for)
3.hotchkis adjustable. they have been quite so far
4.local Chevy dealer
5. 500 including bushings
Set the car on concrete blocks or a the ramps of a 4 post lift, with the end links NOT connected.
adjust the heim joint to the right distance on each side, and that will not be equal. Then put the bolts though to the A-arms.
sway bars should not be attached to the a-arms with any tension what so ever. This is a mistake many guys make
Thanks..
Clarification.. The wheels should NOT be hanging.. ie suspension is LOADED andteh end links are NOT atttached to the A-arms.
Is there a specific angle the ends of the swaybars should be?
You say
adjust the heim joint to the right distance on each side
Im dumb so you'll have to excues me but why would the links NOT be the same length?
I weight 200 lbs with clothing on, so I put 200 lbs of old brake rotors in the drivers seat. this is about 1/8" difference in ride height, then make the adjustments and attachments
Ride height should only be equal when the driver is the drivers seat. Not empty
