hi guys,
I tried to fix my vette but didn't have any luck. Please, this is the link of what I did and if anyone has any idea, I'm open for suggestion. I'm not sure if its something with the computer or the sensors or what.
Thanks,

Looks like others have already replied. I had the exact same problem. Would crank and fire during crank but die when starter was released. So I did a lot of searches on this forum. The fuel pump is shutting off when you release the starter. Anyway - The battery was a bit old so I followed the advise from this forum and installed a new battery and cleaned the battery cables real good. And that's it!! Been working perfect ever since and that was about a year ago. I have no idea why that fixes it but it does. Of course you have to clear all codes also.

Hmmm.....a 98, with a P0601 code. Two forum members called this early in the thread, but for whatever reason, you ignored it. Had you done a search, you would have also found, that a P0601 code is VERY common in 98's, and 99.9% of the time...........is PCM failure.
