Interesting problem, car would not start...
Coming back from the store and I turned onto the service road, well I gave it some gas, maybe half pedel and the traction control instantly came on and the motor did not power up. Almost seemed like the motor went down in power (like it does for a split second before it kicks in) and never came up until I lifted all the way, and gave it 1/4 pedel and it took off. Got home, was there for about 2 hours, went back to the car to go to a friends and the car would not start. Had all electronics and heard the fuel pump when I turned the key, but nothing else. Checked the codes and nothing! So, I decided to check the fuses. All fuses were good under the hood. Jumped into the footwell and as I took out either fuse 23 or 25 (I think it was 25), it was fine, put it back in and heard a bunch of clicking. Tried to start the car and it fired right up. I had been trying the car after pulling and replacing any fuse that had to do with the ignition, bcm, pcm, anything engine wise. For instance, a seat fuse, I didnt try to start the car after I checked it. Havent had a problem since and this was 3 weeks ago.
This morning, I left the house for work and at a certain road I gunned it, same thing, half a pedel, this time it powered up, little spin of tires, not much at all, but I heard a bunch of clicking coming from the footwell. I am going to go try to start the car here in a little bit and see what happens. That clicking could have been there the first time this happened, but I had the stereo up, so i dont know.
03 AE automatic.
Any idea what could cause this? Thanks for everyone's input.
Oh, went out and the car started right up. Thats good, didnt feel like digging through fuses at work! LOL!!

There shouldn't be more than a 2 or 3 tenths of a volt difference between the readings.

What have you checked? Tested? Measured?
I think the cleaning of the connection worked for that particular problem. I am not getting the security light this time around though.
