Both the V3 and V2 are great camshafts---depends on your engine goals and type of use---The V2 makes it's power from 1800 to 6400 and the V3 is somewhat higher at 2300-6700--The V3 has a rougher idle--
If you are more into a DD type car and DON'T want to push your car to the extreme limit this cam will make just as much power as the V3-- and won't be so extreme
But if you want to get all the power you can--The V3 will make some more power at the expense of some driveability and bottom end TQ--AND in order to get the additional power--you'll have to run it up to 6400-6700 all the time--Being tougher on your eng parts/trans/diff.
