99 factory Magnesium wheels
Just scored a set of factory 99 Magnesium Wheel for my 99. Does anyone know what the widest tire is that will fit on the rims.
17x8.5" front
18"x 9.5" rear wheels.
Currently running Front: 245/45R17Y Rear: 275/40R18Y

295/35r18 would be the widest I'd recommend running for the rear and even then it'd be more for looks as the contact patch isn't going to be much bigger since the tire is squeezed on the rim. A 265/40 would match the look for the fronts or a 275/40 up front with 305/35 in the rear. FWIW I put on a 315/30r18 on the rear of my mag rims for fun and it was rediculous!
