Default Ls6 intake with chipped edge

I posted this on this on the general side but thought it would fit better on the tech side. As you can see in the picture it has a chipped rear left corner. It has no cracks and the seller said it bolted up to his engine with no problems. Do you see any problems?

As long as the seals underneath are OK and there are no cracks running anywhere you should be alright with it. I would sand that down round once you get it though.

Here is the underside of the FAST.

Added photo to show why I don't think it is an issue. Don't have a picture of the LS6 underside but you get the idea.

Seeing things like that, just puts a bad taste in my mouth. Just suggests that the seller was careless. As shown, it should seal fine, but if you can't inspect it in person before buying......I would pass....plenty of other manifolds out there.

Yes I think it would be just fine--no problems---However--IF you bought it NEW from a business ---I would deffanately ask them for an adjustment on the price !!! threaten them that you want another one -that is undamaged---ask for $50-$100 ---good luck !!
