I agree with the others that used an installation tool or made their own. The LS site is asking for trouble using an old bolt to draw it on. It does not have enough engagement and will strip threads in the crank. I made my own installation tool out of just all thread and a few nuts and washers. Cheap and easy and it works.
There have been some comments about the torque to yield bolt that is the factory bolt. It needs to be torqued to a value and then an additional turn of a set number of degrees. It is a one time use bolt. Another option is to buy the ARP bolt and then you can just torque to a value and the bolt is reusable. I went with the ARP bolt.
