Default Need help with trans rebuild

I'm rebuilding t56 from my trans in my 02z and am having problems. I pressed the main shaft back together today and the 2nd gear syncro blocker seems to be dragging. I soaked all the blockers before installing them and all the other gears seem to spin freely. Are the syncro hubs directional or could it be dragging because it's dry? If I lay the shaft horizontally and shake it everything frees up. I would hate to put everything back together and have problems with it. What should I set te endplay to? I have read about people setting in preload and others doing 0 - .002 for the main shaft. I was planning on shooting for 0 - .001.

Sounds normal. I just rebuilt mine, after shifting it on the bench and playing with it it will free up... Just the new parts are dry and larger tolerance.
