Default Conti ExtremeContact DW or Nitto Invos?

Been doing some tire research as i'm in need of replacing the F1 SC's on my 01 Z06 and I have narrowed it down to these 2 tires using the Michelin PS2 ZP's as the bench mark.

Let me explain why I am not considering the PS2 or PS2 ZP's as I know some will likely endorse this tire due to its capabilities:

1. Ridiculously Priced as far as i'm concerned. Double the Nitto and Contis.
2. Sidewall has a picture of a cartoon character - no thanks, this ain't my lil cousins big wheel. Dont like the side wall.
3. Treadwear is acceptable but not near the head of the class.

As far as the Nitto and Conti goes, they are right at par from my research with the PS2's in all categories. The Conti gives up a bit of steering response and smidgen in dry traction, they excel over the PS2 in the wet, in hydroplane resistance and treadwear by quite a bit.

The Nittos seem to have at par traction in the dry, I have not been able to determine based on reports or surveys how they rank against the PS2 with concrete numbers or comparos but I hear they perform very well. They also have a better treadwear rating then the PS2, nicer sidewall and pretty cool looking tread design.

I cannot find any info on the contis VS the Nittos in a head to head comparo.

All this being said, cool looks and performance arent the same thing, completely understand, but what I'm looking for is any first hand experience with these tires from people have used them. Thoughts, impressions? Between the Contis and the Nittos, which would you choose and why?

I can't speak to the Invos, but I put Continental DWs on my car back in March and have been very happy with them.

Quiet on the highway, excellent wet traction even in water flowing across the highway, and very good (but not excellent) initial turn-in. No howling in corners, but they are a tad lazy at the initial turn-in and that appears to be the only compromise I can discern.

I'm on the other side of the fence from crainholio, having the Invos. I really like them, rain or shine, and they're real quiet. That, and the sizing choices for my 18/19 combo are the main points in deciding on the Invos, but I'm happy with the performance.

The Invos did poorly in a Car & Driver tire test, so I'd stay away, since there are better choices like the Contis. I run them on my Mazda and they are excellent tires for the money. The Hankook Ventus V12s also get very good reviews.
