When I switched from stock to ti the only thing I noticed was a little more sound. Going to the Flowmasters however was another story
Withe the Flowmasters the enigine is much more willing to rev and it picked up a noticeable torque increase. Granted I had just done shorty headers the day before, but the muffler change was obvious from the moment I left the muffler shop. IMHO they also sound WAY better than the ti system did with minimal drone only when going uphill. The ti system was almost as quiet as stock inside the car which was too quiet for me.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Here they are from outside:
And here is a long video from the inside where you can hear the sound clearly:
Maybe a little less restrictive.
No "seat of the pants" difference in performance.
Weight savings of probably (guessing) 8 lbs.
More of a rumble than stock, but not by much.
Being they are of Titanium, makes them last pretty much forever.
No difference in sound or performance.A bit of weight savings which you wont be able to feel anyways.Go aftermarket.
I have to disagree... There is a difference in sound level. It is slight at idle and a little more pronounced at part throttle and WOT. Its sounds better than the stock LS1 exhaust
The weight savings is 24 Lbs for the set. They will never rust or deteriorate.
YES the tips look 200% better than the stock left over crap from the caddy exhaust system.

I think it depends on what you do with the car. I do a lot of HPDE's and when I'm flying around a turn at 85mph NOT having an extra 24lbs hanging off the back end of the car is a good thing to me, even if that weight does sit relatively low to the ground. They cost me $425 to my door, will last forever, and with my LG Pro LT's they make more than enough noise at WOT. There was no other option for me.
I have a 97 A4, and I installed GHLs on it based on their advertising of "no drone." Unfortunately, the drone was horrible, and I'm a life-time motorcycle rider who appreciates the wonderful sound of internal combustion engines. I put up with it for a few months but finally couldn't take it any longer and swapped my GHLs straight across for the ZO6 titanium system. I couldn't be happier -- it was exactly what I was looking for -- a more muscular sound with zero drone. I recognize that there is a big difference between automatic and manual transmissions -- the automatic settles right where the exhaust drone occurs. You manual owners wil have an entirely different experience. But for you A4 owners like myself -- try it before you buy i!
Its all to the person, if you are looking for loud exhaust go another route, if you want a good sound that opens up when you really roll on it cant beat them, I have lg streets with TI and sounds great!
Also there are several gains, looks, sounds, and there is performance gains, I gained 4-5 rwhp and that was back to back dyno before and then after TI's. I also gained .05-.08 on runs at the track, I am assuming from both the 25 lb weight drop and slight pick up in pwr, anyway good luck
EH,side by side sound sessions with many club members, none have ever been able to hear a difference from base to Ti's,they look good though. For 99.9% of drivers, they will never feel the slight weight difference.

I'm glad folks go after market so I could get a titanium exhaust cheap; I wanted it for durability and weight savings, but it looks way better than the base exhaust and it does sound better, although you can't really tell from inside the car. My friends at work commented that the car sounded different the first time I drove past them with the TI installed.
