Default 12 volts

Looking for a 12 volt power source on drivers side interior. Was wondering if maybe the interior light was switched with the ground, leaving the hot wire hot. Also considering the brake light switch. Thoughts?

Remove the carpeted panel at the front of the passenger side footwell. In the upper right corner there are 3 unconnected wires; one is red, another is orange, a third is black.

The red wire is 12v that is always hot.
The orange wire is 12v switched (hot with ignition switch in the ON position)
The black wire is ground

The two power wires will handle a 10A load. Simply extend the wire you need thru the center of the dash to where you need it.

Default Fyi

On my car, 2001, I finally found the blank yellow, orange, and black wires over against the tunnel.
