If I shutoff the traction control/active handling button will my rear tires finally spin?

What tires are on the car and how much tread? Most people try to get traction, not lose it

I keep reading about this active handling and competition mode thing. How do you know if you have it or not? I have a 2000 Z51 and keep messing with the button but all i get is TC on and off. I read that if you have active handling it will say so over the button. Mine says nothing so I am guessing that I do not have it?

Mine spin with it on... But spin better with it off... However with new tires I'm not interested in putting on a smoke show these days....
