Wiper Switch
The end of my wiper switch stalk that you turn to turn on the wipers is MIA (bought the car like this). I already found a write up for how to take off the steering wheel shroud to get to it ( http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...-a-how-to.html ). My plan is to order a new switch and just install it using that method. My question, however, is do you think I could simply pop off the end of the new switch and stick it on the current one to avoid the hassle of removing/replacing the whole unit? Thanks for the help.

So in searching on ebay for the wiper switch, it seems that the Oldsmobile Intrigue uses the same part? Or at least sellers have it listed as being compatible in both cars. Can anyone verify if this is actually the same part as the intrigue "version" is quite a bit cheaper. Thanks!
