My 2002 C5 has been sitting for a while, so the battery had drained. After I started it with my trusty JNC-660 jump starter I noticed a new problem.
When I turn the **** to engage the headlights, they don't pop up. The interior dashboard & console lights become brighter as one would expect, but no headlights. Also when I unlock the vehicle with the remote, my reverse lights no longer blink, so I suspect they don't work either. I turned on the hazard light switch and the turn signals work fine.
Any ideas on what I should check? Do the reverse and headlights work on the same fuse?
I think you should get the battery charged to full power then see how the lights are doing after that. The C-5 computers are a real issue when the battery is low.

Thanks for the reply dgrant. After jump starting, I let the car idle for over an hour, but when I tried to start it a few days later, the battery wasn't sufficiently charged to do so. Looks like I'll be getting a new battery and trying it after that.
